Is Civico for me?

Civico is designed to help scientists and researchers from all sectors and career levels discover their policy pathway. Organizations are invited to showcase their policy programs, trainings, certificates, and other opportunities. We also encourage policy professionals across all government levels and career stages to join the network.

Find your Policy Pathway

Civico organizes opportunities in the policymaking process into three stages: identifying, formulating, and implementing policy. These stages can help users identify where and how they want to engage with policy and find opportunities to meet their needs and satisfy their curiosity.

identify icon

The policymaking process starts with a problem that could have multiple solutions. Those interested in solving societal problems can help identify these issues and convert them into opportunities for policy change.

formulate icon

Once a policy opportunity has been identified, a considerable amount of effort goes into formulating possible policy solutions.

implement icon

A policy is implemented through government actions. Implementation begins by putting the policies to work and monitoring and measuring the outcomes of the policy solution.
